Atargis Energy Corporation welcomes Michael Egan as our new CEO, effective December 1, 2023. Bill Hartman, who served as CEO starting in August 2020, will retain his position on the Atargis board of directors. 
Under Mr. Hartman’s tenure, Atargis made significant strides in fundraising and business development, with notable milestones including participating in the Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator Cohort 2 in 2022 and the Washington Maritime Blue Accelerator in 2023, as well as presenting at the NREL IGF in 2023. Mr. Hartman was also able to secure numerous non-dilutive funding sources for Atargis. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Hartman for his leadership during the past 3 years, guiding Atargis Energy Corporation through challenging times and boosting morale within the company. 
Our incoming CEO Michael Egan joined as a member of the senior advisory team in February of 2022, swiftly ascending to the role of Chairman of the Board in April of 2022. As Atargis Chairman, Mr. Egan secured numerous angel investments for the company and guided business development and fundraising efforts. Mr. Egan has over 30 years of leadership experience across industries that include upstream and downstream oil and gas, chemicals, utilities, and power generation (nuclear and now wave energy). We are eagerly anticipating the fresh perspectives and strategic initiatives Mr. Egan’s tenure will bring to further propel our company's growth and success.
